General Instructions

This product can be used as either a dip or flood prior to the wax application. Avoid applying immediately prior to waxing as loss of shine and increased weight loss can occur. It is important that fruit be washed prior to waxing.

Mixing Instructions

Ensure that the dip or flood mixture is kept thoroughly agitated prior to and during application. Prolonged pumping can reduce the efficacy of the product. For citrus, monitor wetness by inspecting under the orange calyx regularly. If complete wetness is not achieved, the dip emulsion should be replaced (not topped up) with a fresh mixture. For rambutans, monitor available free oil in tank using oil sensitive cards. If cards do not react to oil presence, then dip contents should be replaced, not topped up. This product may be incompatible with fungicides and sanitisers used in citrus packing lines. Do not mix unless the label directs. Note: calcium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide and peracetic acid are compatible with this product.

The compatibility of this product with post harvest fungicides and sanitisers has not been fully tested. Please contact your local FMC representative for further information prior to mixing with other products. Note: calcium hypochlorite is compatible with this product.

Dip Disposal

This is an oil based product that is degraded by sunlight and biological activity. Dispose of used dip solution at a rate not exceeding 20,000 L/ha over an area of dedicated and bunded flat land, away from watercourses and any drainage areas that could contaminate watercourses. Alternatively, store spent dip in suitable containers and once the oil has separated to the top the lower water layer can be decanted and the oil layer disposed of by removal by a local waste oil contractor.

Protection of wildlife, fish, crustaceans and environment

Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used container.

Storage and Disposal

Keep out of reach of children. Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. This container can be recycled if it is clean, dry, free of visible residues and has the drumMUSTER logo visible. Triple rinse container for disposal. Dispose of rinsate by adding it to the spray tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemical on site. Wash outside of the container and the cap. Store cleaned container in a sheltered place with cap removed. It will then be acceptable for recycling at any drumMUSTER collection point or similar container management program site. The cap should not be replaced but may be taken separately. If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility. If an approved waste management facility is not available, bury the empty packaging 500mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots, in compliance with relevant Local, State or Territory government regulations. Do not burn empty containers and product.
